Joshua Forbes
Joshua Forbes, originally from New York, has been in Tulsa for 3 years attending Oral Roberts University and studying Dance as a Major. His interest in dance, particularly Hip Hop, began his freshman year of High School. He officially began dancing when he came to Oklahoma. Joshua learned and improved on his Hip Hop skills while dancing with teams at Victory's Christian Church and Greenwood Christian Center. He later performed with a female dancer as her main partner on the Tulsa scene for various Kids Community Outreach Programs and Church Conferences. Joshua returns to New York often to take classes at New Dance Group Studios to learn the latest Hip Hop moves.
Jessie Dolezel, Adjunct Professor of Classical Ballet and Jazz at Oral Roberts University and Jenks Dance Academy Instructor, highly recommended Joshua to JDA for his incredible talent and creativity. Joshua prides himself on having the heart of a great dancer and is thrilled with the opportunity to teach and pass on his skills and knowledge of Hip Hop to Jenks Dance Academy’s students.
