Shelia Phillips

Shelia began her dance journey at the age of 3, since then she has studied and taught all areas of dance: ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, tap, jazz, hip hop, bollywood, broadway, pom, and tumbling. She graduated from Memorial High School where she was a member of the nationally ranked Varsity Pom Squad for 3 years. She was a multiple time state solo finalist, and a member of the OSDTA dance team. Shelia coached Pom for 5 years, and has taught at many pom and dance camps all over the state and in surrounding states. She has traveled around judging many dance competitions, and has attended several dance teachers conventions where she learns new material to bring back to her students.
She has choreographed state and national routines from middle school to college level teams. She taught and choreographed for multiple All-Star studio dance teams, and traveled with them to dance competitions all over the U.S. where she received multiple choreography awards. She has also played and choreographed leading and back-up roles in Broadway shows at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

Shelia has taught dance for 8 years and teaches students of all ages and levels. She works with pageant girls, gives private lessons, teaches technique to area schools Pom Squads, teaches to elementary schools, and has recently become a music editor. She continues to bring joy into the art she loves so much. Her passion for dance is shown through her love, devotion, and dedication to her family, friends, co-workers, and especially........her students.
