My name is Samantha Sue Wright and I was born in Santa Monica, California on September 6th, 1974. Owasso High School is where I went to school. Northeastern State University is where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance and a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in health and physical education. I am certified to teach in English as a Second Language and Health & Physical Education. Currently, I teach dual language speakers 12th grade Academic Language Acquisitions at Union High School. Formerly, I was a PE teacher for 15 years at Tulsa Public School.
I started my love for dance and classes at age 3. My mom was a former prima ballerina with a dance company in California. Teaching dance & cheer has always been my passion, and I have taught them for over 25 years and received many accolades, plaques, & trophies for various competitions in dance & cheer. I am married to my husband, Kevin Wright, and have a daughter that’s a junior and a son that’s a freshman at Jenks. We have a family dog. Her name is Hannah and she is a chocolate Labrador retriever. My other passion besides dance is fashion and artistic makeup. Stash Apparel & Gifts boutique is one of my many other side jobs where I get to be creative and expressive in fashion and design.
